1. Nude Heels
When you select a nude shoe that is similar in shade to your skin tone, visually your legs will appear longer than they actually are. It may take a lot of leg work (pun intended) to find that perfect shade, but when you do, consider buying 2 pairs. I wear mine at least 3 times a week.

2. High waistlines
A high waistline with a tucked in shirt creates the effect of longer legs because it appears that your legs start at a higher point. Bonus, they also nip in at the smallest part of your body which can help showcase a small waistline or a voluptuous Badonkadonk. Go on and shake your groove thang. And, if you really want to go for sky-high legs add some vertical stripes into the mix.

3. Monochrome Looks
By dressing in one solid color or color family from head to toe, your perception is one long uninterrupted line. Avoiding a line break by making sure your ankles and feet are covered makes the line that much longer. Follow my "Monochrome Style" Pinterest board for more monochrome outfit inspiration.
4. Pointed Shoes
Pointed shoes lengthen the leg by extending the visual line. A round toe shoe can have the reverse effect by bringing the line to an abrupt end. Avoiding straps that cut you off at the ankles and choosing shoes with a low vamp will also help to draw out the line to longers legs.

5. Shorter Hemlines
This tip is kind of a no-brainer, but also not for everyone. Obviously, the more leg you see, the longer the legs will appear. However, not all of us feel comfortable in short hems. If short hemlines make you feel a little to exposed, consider keeping your upper portion very covered IE: a turtleneck.

6. Tall Boots
Thigh high boots elongate the leg with a long visual line. You can increase the effect if your skirt or dress covers the top edge of the boot. The best part? No need for tights.
