Fashion Hack: Turn A Bracelet Into A Necklace Choker

Have you noticed recently how big the necklace choker trend is right now? With the resurgence of the 90's fashions the necklace choker has taken a front row seat on the accessories reports. But, before you all rush out to start purchasing them consider this...   Over the years as the layering of bracelets trend grew, I seem to have accumulated A LOT of bracelets. I discovered that hidden in my jewelry box I had over 8 bracelets that were double wrap style. Guess what? All those double wrap bracelets fit perfectly around my neck as a necklace choker. HOLLA!!!! I suddenly had an excess of chokers to pick from. So much so, I often have a hard time deciding which ones to wear. You can see me wearing one in this outfit post.   That's quite a lot of bracelets right? And sadly that is not even all of them. Previously, I would layer these kinds of bracelets into arm candy. I am sure you probably tried this trend as well and more than likely still do. YAY! Good for you for working your accessories. You can see below I am a big fan of layering bracelets.   But now, you should look through all of your old layering bracelets and see if any fit around your neck. BOOM! Instant necklace choker.

Now for the bonus tip

I also discovered that I have A LOT of removable pendants on many of my necklaces. By sliding these pendants onto my bracelets turned necklace chokers, I have now increased my choker supply even more. Woo Hoo!!!
